Hey Guys,
Anyways I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if there was a KILL SECTION in this forum. You know guys talking about other guys that they beat in EDMONTON. I think that would be great, but then again maybe it's just me. I was also thinkin of a Ranking on this sight for street racers, so you know who you're up against when you see them around town.
Anyways just some ideas that's all

| I don't promote street racing but if its like a race from 0-speed limit i am cool with it. I must admit i speed quite a bit but i am slowin down more and more now so thats good but i do like to race some peeps off the line to the speed limit! that not cool? Kill section would be ok with me.... Just try and keep it legal people! :bigthumbup: |

I don't mind going to the speed limit either. It's the ones that street race until they reach 180kph on Jasper Av. that bugs me.
The thing with "kills" is there is no way to verify them. Too many people like to embellish their stories...

I know what you guys mean. I'm talkin from the line at a red light. I also agree with you about the whole embellashing thing, but if there are people from EDMONTON I mean you're gonna get busted if you lie I mean we don't have that big of a racing seen in E-Town. |

| since v8less has a strong stance against street racing, I dont think a board like that will be created. basically it gives an idea to go run someone on the street and then post about it :rolleyes: |

| I think that a ranking on the site would be cool - but not for street racing, for the track. A section where people could post their best times. It would be cool to see which people have the fastest cars in Edmonton and to see where you rank. :D |

| and you'll lose if there was someone beside you doing the same... if you had the intent to kill someone you're going to get charged with some form of conspiriacy to commit murder which is almost as bad as murder 1 itself.. he might slap you with a dangerous driving ticket or some form of racing.. safest bet is to keep it legal or throw allllllll our money in a pot and build a 1/4 mile drag somewhere close by.. oh wait that's called Budweiser.. what happens if that one day the idiot side-swipes you shifting and answering his phone and sends you into a minvan full of kids coming back from a party with no seat belts on? Make you feel pretty bad wouldn't it. |

V8Less doesn't support street racing so there will be no "kills" section
feel free to post it up in R U Bored 2? or General Auto Chat, but there will be no pinned topic or specific section talking about streetracing
Word of caution though, as I have posted before, authorities DO take V8Less.com quite seriously & if you post up your kills & they know what you drive/who you are...they will be on the look out for you or will patrol the area

I think that if and when the members ride section shows up on the boards here, another thing that ppl will want to post w/ their specs/ photos (without comments from others) could be their timeslips from teh track or estimated times... just an idea that will tie in with some other ideas |

Don't sweat it, we're a forgiving bunch, just this once :)
Street racing stories just cause trouble for a hobby that the general public doesn't see in a good light.
I encourage you to post and I think it's great you're coming up with ideas to generate traffic, but we're trying to be different from the "other guys" by keeping it real.
