Two comments:

- That police department must have something a little bit stockier than a Crown Vic or Impala for their chase cars!!

- I wonder how many demerit points that would be??

Hey Jim,

Would that corolla be considered a non traditional police car? That would be one car that no one would be able to out run. :o

The RCMP sould consider picking up a few of those cars. Sure must beat the crown vic or caprice

anyone think he'd qualify for a pilots license after conducting a road test like that?

That speed is nothing ... I just want to see the brake setup this guy has got to get slowed down!!

We all make mistakes but this is totally ludicrous. I don't even know if conventional RADAR units register that high. Our 50 km/h over ticket is $352 so at the same scale - drum roll please ............... $5020. If that was a photo radar ticket it would have to be at least 2000 ASA film - I don't even think Kodak has that type of film. Obviously this officer doesn't have to submit his work to his supervisor before acting on it.

"Resort caretaker New Ching Shit told the Star newspaper he had received a summons to appear in court this month after police recorded him driving along a stretch of highway close to his home at 773kmh "

...um....is "New Ching Shit" the name of the driver??....seems like a cool name...

Mekanik22
It's obviously fake and not funny in anyway. The name gives it away.....
That speed isn't even possible in a corolla unless you had ALOT of forced induction like 2 turbos plus nitrous or some combo of some kind.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- A Malaysian man has been booked by police for driving his Toyota Corolla at more than half the speed of sound.
