Sorry buddy, but your out of luck. Tire shops can fix nails, etc in your tires, but not side wall damage. Especially not if they have been slashed.

Hi trdcelica,
Your shot in the dark may not be a long shot. Depending on where you purchased your tires, you may be able to have them covered under waranty. Different shops appear to offer different road hazzard warranties. Some have told me they cover sidewall damage, others do not.
I know that most places do not cover it. It never hurts to get it checked out. You very well may be out of luck but it is worth a shot.
I suspect you may be pruchasing new rubber with out warranty coverage.

| Yeah if they are new they should be covered by warranty ... I paid for the extended warranty for mine as well so everything is covered. Paid for itself when I got a cut in the sidewall that was leaking and they replaced the tire .... saved me $375 |

| Insurance should cover vandalism - even though you'll pay the deductable, still better than nothing. |

| ya wow...hope the warranty works for u....this is why i dont want to spend 1600 bucks on tires....makes me rethink it. |

| If it is in the tred once 7 cords are broken then it cannot be properly repaired and if the slash is in the side wall then the tire is FUBAR. If the tire was slashed in the side wall warrenty does cover that unless the tire shop is trying to screw you (X tire guy) |

Thats what I was thinking, but if you could get away with saying you curbed all 4 tires then why not? :D |

If you have comprehensive coverage, insurance will cover vandalism. |

| I had mine slashed last month. I spent $1250.00 on tires and insurance only gave me back 875.00 :( |

Yes if you involve insurance, but by the sounds of it these guys were saying that the warranty of the shop/tire will cover it. |
