i need a swap done to my crx and i dont wanna spend too much so ive ruled out any swap that envolves a new tranny what is the best d serise or zc engine ive found that the zc with SOHC vtec looks good but almost everyone does the DOHC zc i dont know why anyone wanna help me out whats the best bang for my hard earned dollar???

If you have your mind set on staying with a SOHC Motor, the JDM ZC SOHC VTEC is a good motor, as well as the JDM D15B VTEC. If you want to stick with a USDM Motor, I would suggest either the D16Z6 or a D16Y8.
I would stay far away from the DOHC ZC, because the aftermarket support is no good at all.

For your CRX, I would probably perfer a OBD1 Motor, but you have a lot of options.

Good luck with the swap.
