The engine got better in 1991 went from Sohc to dohc and gained about 15 hp.
1994 was convertable only i think.
1995 - 1996 was a new body style
1997-98 was the new body style with more agressive headlights.
The engine stayed the same dohc after 1991. |

| Also for the S14(95+) it was possible to get 5-lug instead of the typical 4. |

Nope. The drivetrain was quite similar, but that's it.
The S14 (95-98) is a totally different chassis from the S13 (89-93). S14 only comes in coupe, is stiffer, longer wheelbase, wider, wider track, and slightly heavier. S14s have 5x114 wheel hubs rather than 4x100 for the S13.
89-90 come with the 2.4L SOHC KA24E which pushes 140bhp. Later versions have the KA24DE which makes 155bhp, but the 91-93s generally tend to be a bit more powerful and redline higher. |

| ok so hicas turns the rear wheels a bit to help steer. so is that no good for drifting? |

I don't like it. Most drifters avoid HICAS cars or disable it.
The problem is it's somewhat unpredictable. At low speeds the rear tires turn the opposite way from the front, at high speeds they switch to turning the same way as the front tires. Given that HICAS can't know you're drifting and it switches based on your speed indicator (ie, not actual vehicle speed) this is kinda screwy b/c in drifts your rear tires will be changing speed a lot as they break and regain grip.
Are you sure you're going to drift though? I mean, the world is full of "drifters" who either:
a. Do a couple power slides here and there.
b. Quickly realize that shredding tires gets rather expensive. |

^The cost of tires are will probably be the least of his worries. Wait till he starts crashing. It's an unavoidable part of drifting.
Anyway, I totally forgot about this site but here you go:
