looking to build a fence? a deck? or get some blinds for your house? or just whatever from HD

I have $500 in home depot gift cards. Selling $500 in hd gift cards for $400 or $250 in hd gift cards for $225.

I am selling because I no longer need them. They are $25 value gift cards. Must buy either 10 cards or 20 cards at the above mentioned rate. Either way you are saving some money. Buy 500 worth and save 100!

ae1969: so you wanna buy these cards? you said you would if they are for 400 for 500 in cards.

Now if you think they are stolen, provide some proof before you yap. Are you saying my $1000 in Bestbuy, $500 in Canadian tire and $500 in HBC cards are stolen to? nah, I get them for 20% off all the time and they expire in 2 years. I bought so much crap from CT and HBC for my house at 20% off, its funny while everyone is paying full price. Why do I have bb cards? let me see a big lcd/dlp/plasma tv would cost say 4000? but I get cards at 20% off so 4000x0.2=800, so I save 800 off the bat, now consider I get stuff from BB at cost + 10%(friends/family price) and use my cards thats like cost -10% rather than cost + 10. ez savings for me.

I can verify that these programs do exist - and I've even used them myself.

Thanks.

Just incase ppl are wondering why i dont need these HD ones anymore. I was going to use them for blinds in my new house, was going to get a wackload of them since blinds cost about $2000 or so but I am building a newer bigger house now. So just going to buy cheap curtains from IKEA instead. I could keep the cards for another year(how long it will take to build my new house), and use them but I rather sell them and buy them later again.

Uhmmmm

To be honest before I respond to anyones replies I take a look at there past posts.........

You have only a few number of posts and most have been floggin stuff for sale here.......... Mostly 50 buck monitors.....

So when I see a high dollar item at a good deal I get a little suspicious.

I am pondering if its worth the hazzle at this point..........

Do these expire at any time? What value are the cards? $25? $100?

I would feel awfull silly paying for a new entrance door with 20 gift cards of $25 bucks.........

but if anything ......here is a free bump. For what could be a great deal.

P.S TrevorK.....are you vouching for lethal ? cause if you know him.......then I would buy them.

I know of a guy (As I traded $500 worth of Future Shop gift cards with him) who bought $4000 in appliances, all with $25 gift cards.

Sure it took an hour to get them consolidated, but he saved $800 on his purchase, definetely a nice hourly wage.

As for the effort - with the Self Checkout at Home Depot, it takes all of 15 seconds to scan a card. Took me just as long to use 8 cards x $25 to pay for a screen door as it does to pay with a credit card.

Absolutely not - I have no idea who the seller is.

But I do know the 20% gift card programs exist, I use them all the time - I've spent thousands last year on stuff like a fridge, entry door, etc.... when I moved in. I'd love to share my Home Depot with you - but you only get $500/year in Home Depot gift cards @ 20% off, and with owning a home it feels like you spend that much every month ;)

One thing that you may be able to do, to verify the amount of the giftcards is ask the seller to meet you at Home Depot to use them. He'll obviously have no problems with this, and then you have your piece of mind. That's often what people do who trade these gift cards around.

NO KIDDING.

Thanks for the advice.

I have looked into those programs but I can't be bothered with the hazzle thats involved in some of them....... but hey ... 500 for 400 works for me.

:D

if you want to buy we can get them scan at HD that is not an issue

on another note how come you are limited to 500 per year at hd? hehe there is a way around all of that =)
