Basically for someone who already has a talon, or as a project for someone who can undertake itx
The engine is out of the car... both the engine and tranny are FRESHLY rebuilt (READ: 0 km) and the engine was rebored... that alone cost over 2500. After having that done (can show receipts, done by alberta engine rebuilders) i made a very poor choice in having a 'private mechanic' putting it back together for me.
after jerking me around for about 2 months, i'm left with a deep desire to burn his house down, and still no running car.
Anyone who can simply put the engine in would be getting a killer deal here. not to use a retarded saying, but my loss = your gain
the body is white, clean except minor surface rust at rear wheel wells.
Its an NA as well. New tires all around, new glass. The dash was taken apart to change the odo to 0, but wasnt pieced back together (all the pieces are inside the car)
great for anyone whos been looking for a talon to play around with, or even if someone who currently owns a talon wants a fresh engine + parts car...
im just tired of throwing money @ the problem and want this off my hands... frustration levels have gone way beyond what they should.

just to clarify... basically all you need to do is drop the engine and tranny in. its a 5sp, and the tranny was rebuilt at the same time the engine was...
i'll also look at trades if anyone is interested... i do need some sort of transportation device. |

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a dick. But there is nothing there that will make me think that it will make anything close to 200hp.
It may make slightly more than stock but no more.
No cams, headwork, etc. The only thing that will really "make" power is the fact that the pistons are oversized.
This in my eyes is no more than a rebuild to stock specifications, which means it will be making STOCK power. |

There is no way in hell that thing is or will make 200 hp even at the crank with what is done to it right now. All i see is over sized pistons and that isn't gonna do shit on that engine, its simply for rebuilding purposes as they needed bigger pistons after the block was honed and what not, nothing to even do with performance, this isn't a muscle car you maybe gained 1cc if your lucky.

like i said, i wish i had money to throw at this problem... but ive already done way too much of that
i need to try and recover SOMETHIN from this.
while i dunno about the hp thing, i do know the car (once finished) is easily worth more than im asking....
so if someone can put it together, it woudlnt be a bad 'investment' to do it, and flip it
