Light turns orange about me 1/3 throught the intersection and cop gives a gay ticket
He says it was beat red, then I ask him why wouldnt the red light cam go off he says my word verse yours wtf
So you think I have a good chance of winning this one? |

| absolutely not..lol a cop is harder to fight then a camera. and word of advice, not all cameras in edmonton are working at the same time..sometimes they have some turned off. |

interesting... it actually costs alot of money to keep one running for the day so they cant afford to keep them all on at the same time? i figured it would have been cheap keeping them on but expensive maintaining them. |

this might be useful to you but a friend of mine had like 3 tickets to pay off (all speeding) and he kept on extending his due date at the office because he made up an excuse saying he didn't have the money and he was busy with school so they gave him extra 3 more months. But he did that couple of times until a year went by then he said he finds himself not guilty, therefore he had to go to court but when he went, the officer didnt' show up and APPARENTLY if the officer doesn't show up, they just throw away your ticket.
I'm not bullshitting you at all so if you want, ask around but I know 100% that he did that. |

except for the fact that if you do that, and you ask for more time to pay, you already have plead guilty. you either plea guilty and ask for more time to pay, or you plea not guilty and go to court on the date they specifiy, if you lose all you can do is ask for an extenstion and they may give you one. police get paid to go to court, so i dont see why they would miss court when its so much easier then being on the street busting drunks. |

plus the fact that police officers get a higher rate of pay when they attend court as opposed to normal duites.
the incentive is there.. they rarely miss court |
