TaxWiz or Quicken? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Ayu
Which programs do you use?

The only difference I can see is the price TaxWiz is $20 cheaper than Quicken.

Billy

I used quicktax online, www.quicktax.ca i filed online, and had my refund in about a week. It was $20, and could add other returns for $10.

I used the free version of Quicktax. Very simple to use.

Ayu
free version? Where did you find that?

Orzel_pl
If you are a student or make less than 25, 000 a year, you can just use their free version.

Just need to register.

Hi Ayu,

I just use an accountant. $50.00 and I am done. I do not bother going through H&R. I can wait for my return if I get one. Just direct dep into my account usually with in 2 weeks. Last time I checked the fee is deductable. :D That way I do not need to worry about it!

Go to the gov't website and they are actually a couple of free tax programs that allow you to send your taxes online free of charge.
