I want to put my car on the ROAD - Click HERE for Original Thread

LS1-V8
I really want to put my car on the road but relly don't know when is it to early to do so it's been parked since Oct 1st.

Would it be ok like next week??? Or am I just way to anxcious

Keep in mind it's a WHITE car (99 FIREHAWK)

Gary

Meh, colour shouldn't really matter, it's just whether or not you want to get it dirty. Take it out now and it will get dirty, the snow will take at least 2 more weeks of this weather to melt. It's completely up to you though man, bring it out now and just spend like 10 bucks at hughes getting it really clean once the roads dry up, or wait a few more weeks.

pebbles & rocks dont really worry me....it's a daily driver...it has knicks & dings ;)

TrevorK
I'm waiting until all the sand is off the roads to bring my Camaro out - you'll just get nicks and chips in your paint.

I'm waiting to the middle of next month just think happy thoughts and work o/t and the time passes! Or put your car in the shop for usless work it doesn't need and tell em it's no hurry like I did then there's no temptation ;)

Ya i can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN"T DRIVE MY POS MUSTANG WITH FART CANS ON IT!

Dido man I can't wait anymore. Although there is one huge factor thats preventing me from driving which would be 300zx+new rims= no tires! Haha but yeah man... Hang in there and give it a week or two.

Thanks for the offer dude but I have got to stick with the Bridgestone Potenza's. They may be a little more cost wise but have only heard good things coming from owners who have them on their cars. Not to say that there is anything wrong with the Falken's just a personal preference... But thanks anyways though.

Which Potenza's do u have? I dont like the S0-3's (or so ive heard numerous times)......the S0-2 Pole Positions stick alot better, IMO

I dont know what im gonna switch to after these tires run out though :( ,,,,,and NO, im not gonna buy Falken's, Reflux! :P
