I plan on gettin my first car i am soon to be 16 years old, either a Civic EG (92-95) for 5000-6000$ by july of this year it will Probably be a CX and save up for a GSR or either get a Integra LS DC2 (94+) by september/october/november ish, for about 9-10g's what would you personally go for and if you have suggestions for other cars in that price range please post it. i personally think EG civics are way overpriced

if you plan on buying a car then selling it within 6 months, get some beater car that will get you from point a->b

there i no point in putting money into a car that will depreciate (unless you are absolutely certain you will be able to sell it for more/as much as you bought it for)

save your money, buy something cheap, sell it, buy that GS-R!!!!!

prada_2o0o

Don't feel forced to buy something from the Honda camp just because all of your friends, their brothers and sisters and parents have them. Take a look around, you'll find better cars for better deals, real cars, rear drive cars!

Wait and buy something better.. I'm 22 and I'm finally getting a car that I wanted and chose. For the past 6 years I've driven an IROC (sans mullet), a Caravan, a Spirit, and a Sable.. now I'm finally buying something I want with my own money.

Buy a beater and get something you really want in a couple of months

If you want a fast ride man with lots of options in the future to soup it up get a G1 Talon  that 6000 ono for that ride isn't bad, if it has average k's and is in good shape.. always get a car insected before you buy it and you're serious for anything over $5000.... $250 could save you a valve job 6 months down the road take it from someone who'd been there ;)

I agree with Matt, go 1st G DSM, quick for what you pay.

I second that, a car is only as good as the person behind the wheel.

If this is your first car. Go with a beater, you're just learning to drive (I'm assuming). You need to learn the basics before you venture off into auto-X, rally, drag or whatever. Save them semolians for something you really want. Had I waited two weeks after getting my rex, I would be driving a 2nd gen turbo RX-7 :( . Don't get me wrong, I love my CRX and wouldn't give it up for anything now...well, maybe an NSX would change my mind.
