whoah thats cool, so their trying to run linux on xbox to use it as a pc?

if that's what they're trying to do, that's insane. but obviously you have to have a good understanding of the technology and computer programming to be able to do that.

A friend of mine chipped his box, but I haven't done mine.........yet. It is awesome, only takes a matter of minutes to rip a game to the hard drive, and you can reboot the box at any time during the game. No more getting up to swap games :) I think it cost like $120 CDN to get the chip.

Now he just needs to get a bigger hard drive for it.

awwww, that would be so awesome, like a 30 gig hard drive :bigthumbup:
