Ok so I go to grab my usual Cherry Coke after filling up with gas and I find instead wild cherry vanilla coke. WTF? Whose bright idea was this? This stuff had better not be replacing my beloved.
Now I go to a convenience store by where I work and there again is no Cherry Coke. So i ask the clerk/owner and he tells me the terrible news that I had suspected. Cherry Coke is no longer being distributed in Canada again. ARGGHGHHHHHHH!

My theory is that Cherry and Vanilla were both bad sellers.
So they discontinued them both, and made "Black Cherry Vanilla Coke" out of the remaining ingrediants they had, creating the hype of a new flavour while getting rid of old stock. |

Go to a 7-elleven with a fancy fountain pop machine, you can make chery or lime anything.
I kow the 7-eleven/husky on 82st and 132ave has one of these machines. |

Damnit, I was just going to say how I miss Crystal Pepsi. That was what, 10 years ago, damn I miss that stuff. And it didnt come back. :(

So what was the point of Crystal Pepsi? I always heard of it and how great it was but whats the deal? Was it just clear pepsi or did it have a flavour to it?

Besides the clear color, it had its own unique taste. I still remember the taste, it was smooth. |

It's hard to remember 15 years ago, but I recall it was a less rich, more refreshing kind-of taste. It still basically tastes like Pepsi though. The marketing played on a the image of it being "clean" & used the Van Halen's "Right Now" to make it seem as if it was some sort of a revolution in cola.
