I'm not a expert, but I'd say hell no. You may have to get a 0 or 1 guage heavy duty kit for that or else you'll be blowing fuses like crazy.

i'd say yeah it will. you gotta have some big plans for THAT wire to be insufficient

Here is an important question for ya. What Brand of amp is this, specific model would be a help. Reason why I say that is that an amp thats rated at 1800 watts and made by Boss is far less power than an amp thats 1800 watts and made by say Kicker, Alpine or MTX. Post the numbers and I can tell ya Exactly what ya need.

I'd think 4 gauge with a big fuse would work.

You Match the Fuse to The size of the wire... so that you don't start electrical fires...

Let me guess, iConnects kit for 99.99 right? If its that kit then the wire is 4 gauge and more than capable of supporting your no name amp. The reason why its limited to a 600 watt kit is the fuse holder can only hold up to a 60 amp fuse and the kit makers decided that putting a 60 amp fuse in a kit with 600watts on the packaging makes for good marketing that will leave people with no clue, no question because they will assume that 10 amps = 100 watts.

i got that, then i got the 1000 watt one lol

i wouldve recommed a 4gauge kit prefferably efx. its one of the best wire companies. and if ur car has a fairly old altenator or fairly old batterie u should get a stiffing cap.

Remember, amp wiring for cars is always over-rated for safety/marketing reasons. 4awg wiring can easily handle over a hundred amps of current, so no problems there if you're gonna fuse the circuit at like 60A anyway. And if you're not listening at full volume all the time, you'll never hit full power anyway.

4 gauge can handle up to 150 amps and more if it is good wire
