| Where's a good place to get electronic components? I need to build a few DIY circuits. The only two stores in Edmonton I know are MRO electronics and Active components.... any other stores you guys can think of?? |

Electronics Connections is my standby when the others don't have what I need. the problem is their hours are teh suck. 8-4:30 weekdays?!?!
they are on the north edge of the 97st overpass by the Whitemud. their banner is visible from the whitemud.
also, there is a "CB shop" in the sherwood park truckstop which i can't remember the name of. that guy has some pretty neat connectors, antennas, scanners cellphone amplifiers and that sort of shit, if you're into that ;) |

| Cardnell used to have a sales counter, they still sell, but mainly to big companies... I used to get all my stuff there :( They're/where on like 106ave and 171st. |

If you plan on uying lots, or know a company that uses them. The prices where insanely low when compaired to Active down on Gateway and like 62/63.
Might be able to order direct, just can't walk in and say Hi I want blah resistors, blah capacitors, blah diodes, etc, etc.
They had like 6000mcd blue LEDs for about $2.50/ea, active is/was over $5/Led. |
