REDX2NV
Excuse me but its been about a fucking year and i still havent got my refund from last years powerama after i was promised i would get it back. PM for my adress so you can send me my cheque!!!

Oh yea word of advice to anyone else entering the powerama show, if you pay to enter you car in there and it isnt finished in time, dont count on getting your money back i have heard so many EMPTY PROMISE'S from them

SlowAzzPorsche911T
did you get it in writing? anything not in writing isn't worth the paper it wasn't written on ;)

REDX2NV
says in the brochure tha you get can get a refund...nobody cares there though.

Powerama
There is no reference to refunds in the brochure. Did you get my previous e-mail? I write the cheques and authorize any refunds that might be due. I'm not aware of any outstanding issues, nor have I heard from anyone in the last 10 or 11 months about any such matters. Who is it you've been talking to? Refunds are only given if we don't accept your entry after your payment has been processed, or if you cancel ahead of time with a good reason. If you cancel on move-in day or simply don't show up, you aren't entitled to a refund. Perhaps if you identify yourself, and state what happened last year, I can at least have the opportunity to address the issue. Bad mouthing someone who isn't even aware there's a problem, doesn't exactly seem fair.

No i was already TOLD that the cheque was coming to me, and it never came, hence the empty promises.

Ok, powerama and redx, we need to have a sit down and quiet talk over a nice cup of irish tea. obviously there's been a lack of communication, so i strongly suggest, that redx, you write a pm explaining in DETAIL what the situation is about the refund, and powerama, please address the issue coureously and issue a refund.

Powerama
Powerama has now sent a pm to redx2nv regarding his concern about a refund from last year's show. There was a misunderstanding that could have been easily resolved if we had been contacted personally, this was not done.

ManHunter
There was no need for this exchange to be public. This should have started as a PM.

As someone who is likely a lot older than most of you on this site, you'll have to forgive me if I don't know the proper protocol for communicating this way. I just signed on to the V8less site the other day, and I admit I'm kind of technologically challenged. I have to say though, it's refreshing to see how candid and straight forward everyone is with their thoughts. As the producer of Powerama, it's important for me to know what people are looking for. Joining your discussion is proving to be very enlightening. Thanks for allowing me to participate.
