aNYBODY HAVE ANYTHING GOOD BAD TO SAY ABOUT QUINN? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hey, i was wondering if anybody has had any experience with Quinn Securities? I am getting an alarm installed in my truck this weekend and want to know if they are a reasonable company that you dont have to worry about your personal stuff in your vehicle, or do you have to take ever thing out (face plates, amps, cd's)? Do they have a good reputation and customer service? Anything you guys can tell me would be great. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

They are ill knowledged jerks. I took my Buick in to have an alarm installed 2 summers ago, the guy tries to start the car and I have to show him that you just turn the key to on and step on the gas pedal, it engages the starter and starts all in one shot. The guy looks at me wierd, drives it towards the back of the shop, then stops and says he won't drive the car into his shop with my ignition "jimmied" like I have it. I just looked at him baffled and tried to explain how this is how cars were back then, they didn't have ignitions like today. When it came down to it I took my business elsewhere and have turned quite a few people away from the assholes. I could understand the guy being skeptical, but not being a complete asshole towards me.

I have buddies that work at A&B sound that I trust.
They have steered me away from Quinn.. even though I "won" a security system.
The "prize" was not really a very good system.
My buddies also had to "fix" some installs from Quinn.

Like Chromey sez...
RUN...!.. Flee!!..

i say we start a major city wide ban on quinn shit...if everyone diverts there business elsewhere we'll put em out, and they'll be shutdown like the scum they are.

Kato
I won a system from them, not once but three times. Never actually had them do the work. $100 bucks for labour... when it's a free prize.

I've heard good things about them one being you don't have to worry about them selling your address to car jackers and stereo thieves I wouldn't trust International, Future Shop, or A&B as far as I can throw em.... think of it as this way.... those salesmen's at the places I listed above give you the creeps don't they? They set off some sorta alarm like don't tell these fuckers where you live or what you drive. Quinn has been in business for a while who cares if they're jerks they do good work. Did my sis's $750 security system and never had one single problem, knowledgable guys and were friendly to me, the people at Modern Autobody are real assholes but their one of the best body shops in northern alberta....... People with Vipers, Vettes, Porsches, etc. take it to Quinn cause they know their shit.... 'nuff said

mrprecidia
they did the alarm on my gf's car they scraped up her door panel when they took it off, and one of her taillight bulbs has not been working since they fucked around with the wireing.

Im going to get them to to my install, but i got my truck covered in mud so if they do put any scratches or dents, i will know, and i will also take all my stuff out so they got nothing to "play with"
