My timing belt broke in my 180sx and i need some information on how the dots line up .soo i can put the new timing belt on it .
if anyone has any idea on how to line everything up or the mannuel book on the car or motor that would be great.

If your belt snapped on you you more than likely bent a few valves. The CA is an interference engine.

The Specs from a CA18DE should be the same which came in a 88 Nissan Pulsar

when the belt snap there was no nosies that would state that any of the pitsons hit the valves. it was if some pull the plug and it just died. so u think that an 88 nissan pulsur would might be the same set up. do you think that a 240 timing would be the same maybe?

88 pulsar is basicly the same engine.

240 has a timing chain so it is a totally different set up

88 PULSAR.
