i recently purchased a 91 toyota mr2 turbo...
car is in great shape only needing a paint job as well as a thrust bearing...
after doing some research i've found that repairing a thrust bearing must be one of the worst things to repair and decided not to take on it myself...
once i knew the thrust bearing went i knew to not even start the car as that would make it worse, so all that is wrong is the thrust bearing...
the person that i bought it from told me that the engine in the car was still on warranty and can stil get me a replacement engine at cost, which is still quite pricey...
so basically, what i am asking is, is there anyone able to repair this thrust bearing for me? or...
is it cheaper for me just to get a replacement engine at cost?
the only downfall to getting the replacement engine is that i have no one to install it for me:confused:
PLEASE help me with some feedback. |
