What would you do with a million dollars? - Click HERE for Original Thread

inglewood
I'm always curious as to how people would allocate their financial assets, so if somebody handed you $1 million cash in one deposit, what you do. Keep in mind since this payment is not being declared with Revenue Canada it's not being taxed, so how would you allocate your first million?

Charity? Buy a house? Invest it? Buy cars (obviously)? Buy a hooker?

redbaron303
Pay for school, buy a few cool cars and more toys, and a nice house w/ like a 4car garage --> required :D.... then the rest I would invest and try to ride high of wise investing :)

yeah...i think i'd take all the money and just give it away. money sucks. i hate it. anybody want mine?

Buy a $300,000-$350,000 house with a 4+ heated garage and limited living space. (what guy needs living space if he has a heated 4 car garage?)

Then I would spend $100,000 on my car and one other car that I would buy

After that I would put the money into an account that gains decent interest, take $25,000 out and invest it into random stocks on the markets and then find a job that I can work at and make enough money to cover my bills...then any interest can go to whatever else.

Almost
4 car garage....in a warm place like california or florida, pay off the bills, find a fun job I love (who cares about pay), live my life modestly but on my own terms.

oh and maybe pay to have a fivesome with 4 incredibly hot women and tape it so when I'm 95 and on my death bed I can pop the tape in and grin my way into Hell.

ManHunter
I'd try to place it somewere i can get 10% interest. Then live with a 100,000$ anual income all my life and still have the million in bank.

best answer YET

if you're buying expensive houses/cars/property....there is upkeep of those possessions...$$$ things = $$$ upkeep

$1 million dollars isn't really that much money
get a house, get a few cars....that's it
what's left for the rest of your life?????

1 house to appreciate (at a very slo rate) & the of it depreciates

I would pay off morgage, buy my wife anything and everything, and for myself, I'd go back to school, then buy a large building with a loft for living quarters stuffed with the following:

A kickass, monster 240SX with a RB26DETT mashed under the hood with all the goodies
A Kickass, monster R34 with all the goodies
A Kickass, monster G35 twin turbo'ed coupe' with all the goodies
And perhaps a twin turbo'ed new Nissan Minivan with all the goodies

See a pattern? :)

1 million CAD. is like 670 000 American. You cant get too much for that, maybe a nice house in miami, (not a mansion though), or a few cars or whatever else, but it really wouldnt last that long.
