Are there any C++ experienced programmers willing to provide a quick helping hand for this GHEY ASS POS assignment that's due Monday of mine. I have to use pointers, and all programmers know that pointers are a pain in the ass, and I don't understand them. Someone please post back that you understand them...Andy? You work with computers, right? What about you dogstar? Anybody? Please?

I might be able to be persuaded :D

Pointers and references are the bane of programmers. They are also the most useful part of C :)

What's your question? What are you trying to accomplish?

no worries ladis and gentlemen i tackled the situation. however, not 100% effectively...there are some minor glitches here and there that need to be taken care of. but for the most part it's done, and the program runs. thanks for the offers!
