coilovers??? - Click HERE for Original Thread

BB240
Its gettin time for me to replace the shocks in my integra as they are startin to wear out. I have heard of coilovers but dont kno exactly what they do. I was wondering if I put coilovers on my stock shocks will that stiffen up the ride or would I just be better off replacing the shocks all together. If anyone knows what theyre talkin about ur info would really help out

Coilovers can not be put over your stock shocks. Coilovers are basically shocks and springs all in one, they are usually adjustable (height and stiffness).
If it is important to you to be able to readjust your height and stiffness on your car then they are a good buy for the money. But if you just want to drop your ride a few inches or need new shocks then just replace your springs and shocks seperately.
