Mixing Oil Viscosities - Click HERE for Original Thread

Sorry if this has been brought up before. I need some more oil in my car, and I dont remember what viscosity I put in at last oil change. Would any problems arise from putting any oil in? I dont want to have to re-change the oil just to add some. Thanks guys!

Usually doesnt have any ill effects, not that I've experienced. I've topped off 10w30 with 5w30 and vice versa with no issues. I'm talking about half a litre of topping off though.
