| Sorry if this has been brought up before. I need some more oil in my car, and I dont remember what viscosity I put in at last oil change. Would any problems arise from putting any oil in? I dont want to have to re-change the oil just to add some. Thanks guys! |

| Usually doesnt have any ill effects, not that I've experienced. I've topped off 10w30 with 5w30 and vice versa with no issues. I'm talking about half a litre of topping off though. |
