Vafc2: Instal and Tuning Question - Click HERE for Original Thread

jubei
I need to install my vafc2 and get tuned. How much does instal generally cost as well as tuning? Is it cheaper to get it installed by a shop or just buy a wiring harness? Also how much is tuning and where is a good place to get it done. Thanks in advance.

give apex a call

jubei
Im assuming apex is a shop in the city? May be a stupid question but its kind of ambiguous because its also the manufacturer of the vafc2.

its made by apex'i , but close. i'd say to make it really useful you're gonna wanna dyno it. as far as install, just do it yourself. it just means hacking into some wires on your ecu. saves you the 100 + dollars for the harness

Install depends... I got the ecu wiring harness so that the vafc install is just plug & play.

The dyno tuning will vary on which shop you go to and who does the tuning. My last session was with James Chan and was done at Apex (including wideband). It cost me about $300 for 2 hours...
