| I have a Apex'i N1 single on my S14 with a test pipe, its lould but not in anyway anoying. I get told all the time how nice it sounds...i love it...dyno'd 148/158 with just exhaust and cold air intake last spring...If price is an issue, Megan Racing makes a fairly cheap catback that gets good reviews. |

price isn't that big of a problem so i'll look into that one
i was also looking at the HKS but i can't tell if its one of those big ones that you see on ricers....which i'm definatly not looking for |

| Yeah mine is huge, however the N1 comes in a dual tip aswell which is a deeper tone...both are 3" piping...mine has a 5" tip, duals is two 2.5" tips... |

yea i'm not really looking for a dual
so do you have any suggestions on a smaller tipped exhaust still with good performance |

| Most are 4" or 5"...pretty sure greddy, tanabe, hks, megan, etc are all 4"...i check a few dealer sites but none of them list the tip size. Try goin to each respective manufacturer's website for the actual size. Might come across a 3", but if your trying to avoid the "fart can" look you may be better off getting one made localy with a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler. If its not the look but rather the sound, i can assure you that it will sound nothing like a honda civic raspy high pitch. |
