Turbo!

If you're sticking N/A, header, cams, adjustable cam gears.

NightmareMX6
H22:thumbup:

Soulfly
go for cam's and springs and retainers...

Nis13

Shady_Pro

so you want to spend a bunch of money on the car and then throw it all away when you need to change all the parts to put a turbo in? probly better to make up your mind now rather then later. its an old H23 i say spend the like 4 or 5 grand and turbo it from the beginning.

NooDles
good point i will rethink my process

Shady_Pro
go with nitrous till the motor gets tired and then rebuild for turbo

crxt
yeah NOS it till it throws a rod

drop in a turbo H22 after

or sell the car now coz H23s are notoriously bad

you rich Albertan bastards

92_WhItE_H23
excuse me h23 are notoriiously what??? a stronger engine to turbo then an h22?? thats what i thought you said.

Shady_Pro
nitrious is just as safe as running a turbo....boost is just as dangerous if its not set up right and so is nitrious...set it up right and you'll be fine

night_font
what would you recommend on a wet shot of noz???50, 75, 200 ahhha in a h22 with good comp.

mike3
I would hit 50-75. depends how much you use it and how long the shots are. I wouldnt go over a 75 shot.

Shady_Pro
ya i mean i was planning on going with somthing like 35 for the street and 50 at the track maybe 75 depending on the motors condition...you run it with w o t switch. If i was to put in nitrious i would never have any of the button shit, you just turn it on and flick the switch and at wide open throttle you spray...

IDTrav
50 shot would be fun and not tooo bad on the engine providing you're not neglecting the temperature or blowing shifts

NooDles
i dont want to drop in an h22. i thought about it but then i realized that
im lazy,
it costs alot,
and the h23 is still a good engine.
but thats just me.
