Hey I just wanted to give everyone a heads up with the sale price I saw in the paper today. JB's has the Passport X50 Radar/Laser Detector on for a unheard of price of $299. This is for the RED LED, Im not sure about pricing for the Blue LED. Either way, this is a awesome price for a top of the line detector.

| Are you sure this is for a Passport 8500 X50? Or is there a lower end radar with the X50 badge, or is it a standard 8500? I have never seen a 8500 X50 with a red led |

Yes it IS the X50 and it comes in both RED and BLUE LED. The BLUE LED is more expensive. Check the Escort website for more details. click here
It is an awesome price....the Escort website wants $299 USD for the RED LED.
As for the comment for location and number, Im not sure the number, but I know one of the locations is just on the other side of Derrick Dodge on Calgary Trail south.
