i was driving along today, then all of a sudden it started lagging really bad, wanted to go then would die then would go then would die, when i came to a stop the car would just shut off...

i was able to get it started again, but it was at 1-500rpm, and hardly running.. when i hit the gas it woudlnt' do anything..

i'm thinking fuel pump, but there was a bit of rattling/knocking.. so i don't know if the engine is shot or its just the fuel pump.. any idea's anyone??

check the plug wires. my old 2nd gen used to pop one off.
also switch the plugs.

sounds like you have a cylinder thats not fireing.

i went digging and found a wire that had separated a bit off of the ignition system... i fixed that, canadian tire said i needed a new engine and all that stuff, but all it was is a wire that separated, just need to solder it

thats what i figured. what wire was it.

haha fuckin canadian tire..

told me i had to cut my rims off because the normal lug nuts should have come with a special socket too.. along with the key socket..

i went to tire warehouse..
turns out it was a standard 19mm socket:rolleyes:
