technically even if they don't factor the dog you did EXACTLY what you were supposed to do. you saw lights and pulled over. you should be ok on the legal side of things but losing the car hurts. how hard did he hit you? did you talk to him at all? |

He must have hit us at atleast 80-100km/h the whole rear is gone, basically there is no trunk left what so ever, drivers side is all caved in, and the rims/tires are bent...Luckily I was still moving forward, otherwise I think it would have been a lot worse if he had hit as at stand still with the e brake engaged.
ANd yes, we talked to him he was very shook up and very quiet throughout the whole thing...Didn't seem very remorseful, he jsut kept saying how bad the road was and that the damn dog had to be there... |
