brake light problem, CRX - Click HERE for Original Thread

my-rex
I have a 1991 crx si and the brake lights just stopped working. I was going to go get donairs. On the way there they were working fine. Then I park go get my food come out get in my car to leave. my friend was following me in his car to my house and as soon as we get out of the parking lot he stops me and tells me they weren’t working I checked the bulbs and all the fuses and there are all good
Any help would be appreciated

the brake switch at the pedal?

Perhaps the bulbs themselve got overloaded and burnt?

www.crxcommunity.com ftw!

Do they still illuminate on low if you turn your headlights on? If so its most likely the brake pedal wire. If not, it's most likely going to be a fuse/relay.

ahhhhh man do i feel like a dumb ass. I blew my horn and the horn fuse at whyte ave when the Edmonton Oilers won the conference finals. So when I checked the fuses I didn’t think any thing of that fuse because I dint think that stop meant the break lights so I just left that fuse. It finally hit me to day that that was it
My bad my bad :dunno:

They work fine now.

Yup, seen that in an Integra before as well. :p
