Price for MR2 GT? - Click HERE for Original Thread

xSilv3Rx
Hey, I was wondering if I could get a general quote on the approx. price for importing a good condition (3.5-4.0 auction grade) MR2 GT, with low km's, and little mods.

Thanks

mx73someday
The majority of grade 3.5-4.0 MR-2 GT's in 5 speed with under 100,000km will be between $7000-10000 fully imported to Vancouver.

The flashier the example (wheels, good paint, aftermarket parts) the more expensive. Original examples will likely be more affordable, and those with faded paint or green examples will be the cheapest.

Thanks for the info.

Im trying to see if there is a big difference in price between buying a MR2 that is already landed (like the one on your site for $11k), and importing one from Japan. It seems like the condition of the one on the site would fall in the higher price range for importing, in which case there isn't much difference between the two.

There is money to save from buying one in Japan, but you get the added hassle of having to pass the out-of-province inspection and perform repairs.

Why is the mr2 gt on the broker stock page so affordable? Is there anything wrong with it that has not been posted? It just seems wierd to me that no one has bought it for that low of a price.

Do you look at the Broker stock cars personally?

I have to agree that it's price is way lower than what seems to be the quoted price for importing one.

IMO the price is lower because the car aint legal until 6 month...

what the hell was I thinking? I was thinking for the Calgary stock one.

I'm sure the car is fine, if there were any problems they would be listed, if the find any problem, ussally they will be fixed before it leaves Japan, If a major problem is found after it has landed, there is re-course. The mileage is accurate and pretty low, its got pimp Kouki Tail Lights.

MR2's are often cheap, remember Import Concern is only making there broker fee on this car, thats why its cheap, there wouldn't be much inflation due to the fact that the demand isn't that high and MR2's have been legal for awhile.
