Hey guys,
I'm pretty new here but my bros a regular here (or so he tells me...)
But anyways, I'm selling a blue 95 talon that is basically missing its front end.
Crashed it in front of the future shop in west edmonton a couple months ago and am looking to just sell it complete as a parts car.
It is repairable with about $3000-$4000 needing to go into it to make it road-worthy.
The front bumper, both front fenders, hood, radiator, radiator fan need to be replaced, as well as there is some damage to the frame above the passenger side wheel well. As I said, it can be repaired, however would function better as a parts car.
Both the engine and the tranny are in great shape, have ~156k kms on it (can't remember exactly, but its around there). The Engine doesn't burn oil, has no trouble starting, and does not ping. The tranny doesn't slip, shifts fine, and the overdrive has no problems either.
As for other components, the car is in pretty good shape other than the front end.
I am looking to get about $2500 or so from it (pay for that damn UofA tuition...), which is fair considering the condition of everything.
I will post some pics tomorrow after work, and if you have any questions, feel free to let me know. |

| Have you been given a quote of how many hours to fix the frame damage? |

| It'll need some cutting/welding for sure, but I have no idea how long it would take. Pics up after work. |

Thanks trav.
Those pics were taken before I ripped the front off (tossed away all the parts that couldn't be salvaged)
I'll toss up some more pics when I get home. |

He would like to fix it up, but does not want to go through the hassle of the provincially inspections. Why? Because it'll cost a backyard mechanic less than $1000 to fix your car to a driveable state. |

Insurance has done nothing to my car. Why would I pay an extra 3 grand per year to insure a 9500 car (at the time) while going 4 years collision free :) So yeah, they know it has been damaged, but not a penny has been claimed.
The title is free and clear and has not been flagged for anything. |
