i found a 91 Mr2 Turbo.
only thing is it needs a little body work.. the passenger side front quarter panel has damage but it seems isolated only to the panel. What would it cost to have the panel replaced and painted yellow again? the panel is small so i cant see it being all that expensive.
second, it needs a new lock for the driver side door..someone tried breaking into the car and messed up the lock. how much could i find one of these for???
the asking price on the car is 13,5 with only 150k on it. |

hmm no idea on prices, best bet is to go to toyota and ask for quotes.
Don't expect it to be cheap.
I wouldn't be surprised if a new quarter panel was around 1100$ painted and installed. |

really? well, it might be able to be repaired, but there are dents on the seam of the well. and i always thought if the dent is on a body crease it cant be repaired.. other then that, where could i find a used lock or something.. the car has an alarm so i can use the keyless entry to get in and out, ive never used a key in my door.
also, is it normal when doing a 93 tail light conversion that the lock to open the trunk is sunk in like 1.5 inches? |

Nope, I dont think so. He must of installed the tail lights incorrectly. Plus they are 94+;)
Used lock. Hmm try asking Rob (RDS_Celica) he mentioned to me there was a written off mr2 somewhere in town. |

| well the lock is installed correctly in the trunk i looked... however hes using the old lock from the old set up so im guessing the tail lights for 94+ use different lock? |
