| Kinda similar to that other thread...anyway...Im here in Edmonton with my gf for the summer and we are looking at places to go see before we head back to the rock. Anythin of interest really, weve done some looking around and been to the Zoo but thats about it. Anything in or outside Edmonton. Are there any beaches/swimming places? Any suggestions welcome. |

| In town there is the River Valley, walking around the Legislature, West Ed etc... Past that I'd highly reccomend a trip to Jasper or Banff. |

| And if you like Sylvan Lake, less than a 1.5 hr drive and is quite nice place to spend a hot week end. |

Highway 16 west takes you to Alberta Beach.... not that long of a drive....
