Well, my car has been overheating like a bitch in this hot weather, my fan wasn't coming on. I wired up the fan, but I was still in need a new rad, the old one is is rough shape.
I shopped around at JB's, Mopac, online, etc, they all had nice rads for $450+. That's obviously way out of my broke ass price range.
Matrix is a dealer for Yonaka Motorsports, who makes an all aluminum dual core half rad for 92-00 Civics. My B-Series hoses are bigger, but I'll make it work. I couldnt find a half-rad made for B-Series anyways.
They told me it would be in by Friday, and sure enough I give them a call Friday afternoon and it's in. I go first thing this morning, they have invoice waiting for me. $220 (Retail) later I walk out with a very nice piece. I'll be sure to post pics when it's installed!
The guys at Matrix are awesome! The business is owned by Mayfield (afaik), and they have no reason to rip you off or try to scam you.
They gave me an AWESOME deal on this part I needed, and it was in very quickly.
I recommend Matrix for your performance and OEM needs!
A couple weeks ago my car needed axles and upper control arms, they got me brand new of both next day, 100 per axle and 70 per control arm w/ balljoints. This is new stuff, not reman. I got the work done in house by Mayfield, and they did a great job with everything.

nice to know ;) i will also need a new rad for my b16a and the rads i see online are expensive but 220$ is a real good price. and if they told you it would be in on friday and it was than thats awesome not like some other shops.

yes, matrix is great. i have gotten some stuff off of them and its allways comes in on time and very good pricing. But they cann't get me trd stuff for my car:mad: but other then that very good place to buy from.:thumbup:

The 92+ Rads are too tall for EF's, but a custom crossmember will soon fix that ghetto slant.

| good to know.. ive been over there a few times talking to verlen about parts for my car.. they by far have the best selection and availability of parts.. well for my car anyways.. prices seemed reasonable on the parts i was looking at.. matched most online stores, that id be paying US and shit loads for shipping.. |
