| im tossing money at other things then buying the same rims! actually, the junkyards havn't been too friendly for escort gt rims! I need to get my other two and repaint them. kinda waiting till I have the car painted as well. |

on top of trying to find rims, I am also working on my personally fabbed aluminum intake. I have the lower part ported and waiting, once I buy the rad its done! will bump the car up to 17psi and see how it does! Won't dyno the car till i buy or get one of my spare turbo's rebuilt! so I am pretty busy and doing so many things at once, and not enought time for others. Money has to go somewhere and it sucks that I can't throw it all at the car, and that is why I drive a car worth less than 2000 and not a 20000 car! Im a cheap ass! but, and I say with pride!
I love my car and I am damn proud of it! it could look better, could be faster, but its mine! all will come in time and I will have a car far different than anything on the street! |

thought that also because of the first like 10 seconds....but i watched again and it looks like theres a manhole there or something...but it is do some weight transfer while shifiting....stiffen that bitch up!

I like this idea...
The engine was cold, sorry. I think my neighbours think I'm nuts; garage opens, car turns on, revs a few times then shuts down and garage closes.
Max RPM was 5000. Redline is 8000 with VTEC activating at 5600 and fuel cut at 8300 rpm. So it didn't even get to the good part. :D |

unless you're running crome/uber with vtec <20 enabled you can't hit vtec at idle...can't hear the full effect! |

the two cars sound damn nice! One thing I can't stand is a beefy v8 exhaust. (well some sound awesome , but others are just awful, especially chevy trucks) and exhaust put on cars that shouldn't have their 1" exhaust messed with causing that awful high pitched vibrating rice sound bleh
I think people lost the idea of what an exhaust system is for.
wouldn't you want to modify your stock exhaust to make it safer for your motor, like relieve some back pressure and improve the performance of the motor , turbo cars get their catalytic convertors removed cause they just clog up anyway. ah whatever. exhaust is exhaust! |

OOOh OOOH I have my rice sound.
This was my 2002 neon LE with an SRT4 exhaust, recorded with a $1200 JVC DV cam sitting on my dash with the window cracked, hense the wind noise.. a few wot runs to 100km/h so on the highway, yes I blew the first shift.
I loved the sound, it was just a bit loud.
Right click save as
I should do a sound of my V8, it sounds nice sometimes... only when I rev it a certain way, other wise it's quiet and kinda sounds like it looks :P |

not bad at all other than being a little quiet. Leave the suspension alone though, I heard soft is better for the dirt.

the suspension is less than 3 years old! is all the slightly upgraded stuff. Kyb shocks and the competition springs offered by a merkur part website. its a little soft but you should see the car on the dirt! (though another merkur guy has offered me his Spax adjustables with stiffer springs!)
And no , no intercooler installed yet! I am working on my rotated intake right now! Fabricating it out of aluminum and its almost ready to be sent out for welding. |
