Repairs Pending: The engine arrived in Canada with light rod knock. Buy it as is for $5,500 firm. We're kind of slow to arrange to have it fixed ourselves.

Any accidents?

Grade "A" for accident history.

It has not been fixed yet. I doubt it will be fixed soon, but I guess you never know.

Not that I remember. I like this car, good, clean style. Its nice.

This would be a great car for a mechinic, or anyone who can pell the engine are replace the bottom end themselves. Or if you want to take it to a shop. Or It will run fine for awhile, maybe looking to do a SR swap.

Regards,

Braden

Its my style of car. look at Christian's pictures, the car looks good, its low and aggressive looking. The wheels could be better.

Still pending repairs?

I am looking into possibly purchasing this car...
But I would like to know if it will be in repairs any time soon, or what It would cost for the repairs to be done. :dunno:

If anyone has some information about this, they could either E-mail me @ Import_phr34k@hotmail.com, or send me a message on either here, or beyond.ca.
Both of my accounts on here and beyond are the same username.
(RotaryPower)

Thank you

It is still pending repairs. Replacing the rod bearings should only be around $1000 at a shop like Auto Dream.

RotaryPower
So, buying it AS IS, for $5500
then going to get it repaired at say Auto Dream for $1000
grand total of $6500.

Still cheaper than the posted IC price

Cause if I did purchase this car, I would want to keep the CA18, not swap for SR..

As of right now, we are just waiting on our house to sell,
which our realtor expects to be gone within 2 weeks or less.

That is the big thing there, just waiting for the house to sell.

So when/IF it sells, which it should, I will be looking into this vehicle more.

And thanks for the repair info

Also, has this car been registered in AB yet?
Or would it be the first time it's been registered here.

It have never been registered in Canada. So yes, it would be the first time. The OOP has already been submitted to the Alberta Registries.

You think just because the dash, thats not hard to fix has stickers and a missing gauge its not clean? Rims and tires is something that is a personal opion and would most likely be changed on any car. If you only have negative things to say stay out of peoples for sale threads. Nice car IMO.

dips74
what ever happen to this car in IC page.

Did someone buy it or has it gone in for repairs?
