I recently took my car in for service to Alberta honda, when I was checking my fluids today I noticed a missing plug. I'm pretty sure its for the trans but not totally sure. I was wondering if it will effect my car to have it missing cause i'm still driving it. I just don't know why it would go missing when they only did a valve adjustment. This and the fact they made me late for work I'm not really happy with their service.

| thats the timing covers plug. their easily knocked out of place. im not sure how it went missing, but their a couple bucks from the dealership. i doubt they would take it as a profit motive to get you to replace it cause theyll make less then a dollar off it, but as far as i know, its just for the timing |

| Shouldn't really affect your car unless you start dumping loads of junk into there. But if it were me I would just head over to U-Pull-It and grab a little rubber plug and just pocket it. I remember seeing a few early 90s accords there a couple weeks ago. If you can't find one I'd be willing to put money on the fact that a plug from another Honda would fit fine in there. |

the one from my accord didnt fit my friends prelude, so im not sure if itll work like that. although if you got one from another car with an F series engine in it, it might work |
