if you were to punch out a laptop screen... is there a chance you could buy a new screen to replace it.. or would i just need a whole new laptop all together..:dunno:

Yes you can buy a new screen.

The last screen I had to install was $650 from HP, and it was for a 6 month old laptop.

For the HP I ordered I just got it ordered through HP Replacement Parts - all the major manufacturers will have them in stock.

Keep in mind, the older the part the more expensive it is (Supply / Demand)

i wish i got owned in CS but someone pissed me off and that resulted in a broken screen ... lol

If its HP send it in for there Flat Rate Repair.. Set ammount.. they will replace all faulty hardware.. i dunno if that apply's to Phy Dmg though..
