Oil Prices Up Again - Click HERE for Original Thread

rexxrally
Oil hit a new high of $76US today. 6 weeks from now, when that oil shows up at your local gas station, you'll see the highest price ever for gasoline.

Just in time for the Labour Day Weekend. Fun, huh??????????

Sometime over the next month, we'll see a bit of a drop in the price, but then there'll be a sharp, steady increase to Labour Day.

Supply, demand and OPEC.

I would hazard to guess one of the reasons that oil is going up is because of an increase in demand. Countries such as China, that in years past were low consumer of oil/natural resources are now needing much, much, much more than ever before during their industrialization phase. Combine that with the ever increasing demand from industrialized nations (SUVs, etc... in the US).

As well, you'll notice that when there are world events that oil prices shoot up. Why? Simple, the oil companies don't keep the same sort of stockpile they have in the past because it's not efficient/cost effective. So when there's tension in the middle east, oil prices go up.

What I do is I have like 50 jerry cans in my garage, and I fill them all up when gas prices are low, and then when the gas prices go up, I use the jerry cans until they run out. By the time they run out, the price has dropped.
