How to tow a car from red deer..... - Click HERE for Original Thread

chu77
Hi,

Well, me and Ammo is going down to red deer sometime next week to buy him a new prelude. We will be getting a parts car with that as well, just wondering what place would we be able to find a cheap towing service to get the parts car up to edmonton.

Last time Ammo paid $300+ to get a car back to edmonton......

Also, are there other ways of towing a car? (legally) Can we rent a trailer or something to pull it? At budget maybe?

Or maybe someone can rent us something to tow?

I don't think AMA would cover this right?

Thanks

Cheapest way is rent a car trailer from Uhaul or somewhere and pull it yourself.

I think only Uhaul have those buy you'll need to have a suitable truck to pull it with. They're VERY specific about the pulling vehicle.

FYI: They dont allow Ford Explorers to tow anything they rent. TOo many rollovers with Explorers.

I'll do it for $250. I own a truck and trailer.

You can rent car dollies from this place on 50st and about 70ave. I believe it's called Edmonton Rentals, but I can't recall exactly at this moment.
