not to bash another website. but, i've been a lurker of clubvibes and used to post a little back in the day. for a while and was thinking of promoting v8less their event on there. until i found this. do you think i should still promote here?

I read the posts, and i say post/promote there. If they are going to be prejudice and the like (no matter what they say) then screw them. They'll self-excluded themselves from coming to these events anyway is they thinkg there are going to be any asians there.
If u want to club, this "gang violence" crap is something you'll have to live with in edmonton. It's not going to go away any time soon.......if you don't like it.....go somewhere else or shut the F$@k up. Freakin' whiners :slap: :finger: |

Groups of any people can be a threat, why is it that as soon as there is a group of asians or lebs or white guys that it is a gang? I grew up in the city most of my life and have had friends of every race, I hung out with asians, arabs, white guys, black guys and what is the difference? I'll agree when I go out to big bars in Edmonton it makes me a little nervous to see any group of people giving you the evil eye acting tough and shit but I just party on. The whole city is getting a whole lot rougher in the last few years and I wish it hadn't but you have got to deal with it. It would be a hell of a lot easier to get along than to pistol whip eachother. The worst thing is the people that get in your face when your driving too, looking over one hand on top the steering wheel with the seat tilted so far back you can hardly see out the windows. Like fuck off, I am tired of everybody acting like they are so damn tough when they are nothing but a pussy. Anyway all this racism is making things worst because people are starting their own gangs in fear of other gangs. Crazy world we live in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| You know it's funny. I put up a pole on here about how many guys were asian, or "white" to see if my dads theory that modded imports are driving mostly by asian ppl wasn't true... out of like 40 posts, there was one comment made because I was silly enough to forget "other" to include everyone else.... otherwise ppl just filled out the pole or posted and didn't make a big deal out of it. I figured I would receive tones of flamming from that post, but everyone on here is so mature and is comfortable with their ethnicity and others ethnicity that we can act as ONE community and not have retarded threads that really cause racism! I'm glad I'm part of a group like V8less that is as open and free as we are, versus a close minded bunch of pricks like those guys! |
