the turbo kit he will be purcahsing off of me. It is:
T3 Turbonetics Turbo (.48/.50)
Honda b-series manifold and downpipe with flexpipe and 02 bunge
turbosmart boost controller
1g dsm bov
dsm side mount intercooler
(external waste gate is still needed, and also needs oil lines)
copper head gasket also needs to be installed (not absolutely needed though, it is a BIG job)
all gaskets/bolts are provided, he needs a oil line kit and a wastegate for the turbo to funtion properly. tuning is also required. (download a copy basemap off another set-up? Cheaper route anyways)
- i also recomend burning the ecu instead of getting a aftermarket standalone or piggyback. (just my $0.02) |

IC pipe is not manditory for install, although it would be nice. But he needs custom fabricated ic piping to fit his application.
jeff, as for the headgasket, it is now his when he purcahses the turbo kit. if he decides to sell it and not use it, it his his coice. thanks though. |

| to burn a fuel map / chip an ecu, he'll have to convert to obd1. |

| i just installed a kit onto my car this weekend. its not as hard as people think. just time consuming. just my i/c pipes are left. |

| I think the hardest part is the vacuum lines and the oil lines. last but not least... TUNING! |
|
|

| oil lines were a bitch. vaccum lines are cake. |

| oil lines are easy as pie :P tuning is the biggest issue, and i would never ever use an fmu or safc hack its just garbage when u own a honda, why mess around when u can have stand alone for next to nothing... makes no sense. Im sure all the guys running fmu's if they could have stnad alone for less then 50 bucks they'd snag it in a second but some cars dont have that option. |

| standalone's arent cheap though. well at least not the worth while ones like AEM EMS! |
|

| For a honda it is haha, chipping ecu costs maybe 50 bucks, and theres tons of free software... just as good as any stand alone. |
