I plan to come out Thursday to see how the car goes, although unfortunately I'm not expecting a lot with the worn LSD. I'll get my suspension in though and hope it does the job. It is fun in the rain, I know that.

Matt are you going to drive on the 5th? If so, then you need fenders. otherwise lookin good! :) hope to see you all there.

louren22
Andrew, you NEED all your body panels? After Thursday night's incident I was gonna run without the front bumper/fascia. Would I not pass tech without that?

RS13
I should be out.

ChromeDragon
My car now has fenders, don't worry.:p

Sorry but yes. you NEED all your body panels. Cars MUST be in a presentable manner. ei: No half primer jobs or bumpers missing.

RS13
Ok next question, is it going to be the same track or is more going to be opened up??

Hopefully more.

Are you kidding me? Since when is drifting a beauty contest?

McFly
i thought it was about going sideways not 6k paint jobs, altezza's, chrome 20's and neon underglow.

no primer:dunno:

THUD
Hmmmm 1st off is there the drift thing going on this thursday the 3rd @castrol?
2nd Primer is the other offical color thou not metioned very offten as such....that and tremclad rust paint.
Lastly if D-sport becomes that L33T and picky I will personly paint a car up really niceLE then ducktape the doors and fenders and bits of this and that just to prove an anal-retentive point...

nismokutz
no shit, we suppose to get our cars repainted after every little incident? either that didn't sound rite andrew or that is just gay....:dunno:

4kruzn
presentable doesnt mean show paint at all.

presentable means all body pannels, realatively straight, and simmilar color on all pannels. tremclad is the official paint of most drift series.

tremclad is happily accepted at all d-sport events.

what he is saying is, no bumpers or fenders and you cant sign up for the competition. no bumpers or no fenders will be welcomed at the practices.

events are for the fans so the cars need to look good for them.

see ya saturday. :blue:

1st No.
2nd Primer is fine as long as the car matches. it must look "presentable" not show quality. Drifting is a show of speed, angle and style. your car is part of how well you look on the track. I'm not saying you need it to be mint, but I am saying you need the front fenders and bumper on the car. Zip ties and tape are fine. just take some pride in your appearance.
Lastly. what is your point?

Thanks to 4KRUZN for clearing that up as well. The idea is not to make you re-paint your car everyweek, it is to have a "presentable" competition car for the events.

nismokutz
well hopefully my car meets ur standards....lol. jk

ChromeDragon
That's it. I'm cutting off my roof.:p :p
