S'all good :) I think Celica's can be done up really nice as show cars, unfortunatly I've never seen a really fast fast celica, even this one I saw on NOS w/ no interior wasn't that fast at budpark :)

There was a white celica at World Of Wheels, had a cf hood and a cf wing (just like the aluminum ones) looked really sharp...
And ya I'm Chris... you're right $$$ will make your car fast, I'm just refering to stock ones though when I say they're slow.. even w/ a little nos ;) IMO they're a nice car, just not the quickest from the factory :) As long as you enjoy your car, it's all good :D BTW, I have a nissan 300zx (1984, one of my fav. styles) |

| Automatics are for 1 handed men. You'll never be able to "really" drive your car untill you drive a stick. Yes auto slushboxes may be marginally faster at the quartermile, but a manual tranny is the only way to go if you ever drive your car agressively in the twisties or on an autox track. But hey, that's just me. If you like your hands to stay at 10 and 2 it's your life. |

Like someone said in another thread, it's his passion and he likes to share his prized piece w/ everyone and see their reactions to it and the money he wins if it's money won't pay for mods..... so do it for the fun of it, because you want to... It's not like you're going to make your living off showing your car man (no offense intended), so you can do it for the fun of it like a lot of the people here do! :) |

You should get in on the tekniq wheel/hub group buy.... Their wheels are really nice for the money and you get the removable hub as well!

Buy many many annoying interior lights that don't match the car (i.e blue car, yellow neon lights) then strobe them to go with your "bass c.d" - 25 h.p
take out your rear seats and put in wonderful "Type R" buckets that don't match the interior of your car for EXTRA weight redution - 45 h.p and 200 lbs. loss in weight
buy some canadian tire enkei knock-off rims and install them.... 16" works best and then slam your car for better weight transfer - 50 h.p
put an overly huge novelty triple decker gt touring wing (fake carbon fibre with spray-painted steel to look like aluminum) for adding down-force needed for cruising 40 kph around the city, then buy an outrageous huge front lip (shovel) and put chicken wire in the lip and install a fake intercooler, buy knock-off cheap fisheyes b/c your headlights don't work, buy huge skirts and rear bumper, dual exhaust, then tint it darker then anyone has tinted a car b4 and put "m3" fenders on and of course buy "fake" cross-driller rotor plates to sit over your existing rotors.. for a total gain of 100 h.p
from the stock 100 h.p the car originally had.. it will now have 475 h.p... you must now put japanese symbols all over your car for added looks and a ricey banner up on your eyebrow and last but not least noooossssssss... a 100 shot will certainly kill your engine but you will look fast doing it. with all this done you will be racing for pinks in no time.... don't forget to double clutch.. it wastes time and is pointless :bigthumbup:
