| Oh man...I thought the Crown Vics were sufficient for pursuing criminals and for highway patrol a decked out Camaro (i.e. Strathcona RCMP about 4 years ago). |

They ruined the one thing a hummer is supposed to be used for: off roading!
But at least they put a big 700hp engine in it, now it can catch up to all of us with its 0-100km/h of 6.5 seconds... and then fantastic handling to boot.
now the only thing that is useful for, realistically speaking, is ramming or throwing it at suspect's vehicles... thats not an accomplishment |

| if they had put that 700-hp engine into a crown vic, it's 0-60 sprint would be sub-5 seconds easily...why they would do it to an overweight sloth is beyond me... |

| The parallels to the EPS ugly-as-fuck Tiburon are incredible. Also realize that it is the COUNTY SHERRIFS personal emergency vehicle. I'm pretty sure that the EPS chief doesn't drive a regular Crown Vic. I'm pretty sure it's a SUV with a performace package. It's a vanity vehicle for the county, and I am sure as well as being fast, it makes a lot of PR appearances. |
