Does anyone know if drifting is going to be a part of the SCC events?

D-Sport DRIFT demo presented by Autodream
With the success of the D-Sport Drift Series and the Grand Prix of Edmonton Drift Exhibition, SCC (Street Car Challenge) is proud to announce that it has teamed up with D-Sport to bring you the "D-Sport DRIFT demo presented by Autodream" at both SCC shows this year. The demo is to feature Alberta's top drivers as well as team Autodream in some of the most exciting drift action this year! You do not want to miss this show!

Well, theres not a huge crowd in alberta for drifting yet, and by putting on a demo this may help more people get interested in it and then go out to d-sport events.

And it should be fun to watch for spectators too, instead of people just spinning out. :dunno:

SilviaDrifter
but usually during SCC only the good guys sign upto compete anyway.......and who cares if ppl spin out......thast why tehre is events to get better at drifting and not watch otehr ppl drift butg w.e its all good.....ill probably still watch....

slidestar
In order to hold a proper drift event we would need more time and space. Because of so many other things going on that day we are limited to how much track we have available. A 30min demo at the end of the day will be a much better use of our reasources and more exciting for the crowd to watch because we can do things that you can't do in a comp.

hope that clears up any questions.:fingersx:
