Where to balance teh bottom end? - Click HERE for Original Thread

As some of you might know I'm building a LS/Vtec engine so I think I need to balance the bottom end. Anyone know of a good place to do this? Or should I try EC machining again?

Also how do you check if the bottom end is in good cond or not?

A place like Campbell's would be able to do it (Or would farm it out to someone to do on their behalf). They'd charge a little more, but there's definete quality behind their work (As their reputation is rather good).

Lots of measurements and comparing them to specifications. Use plastigauge to get clearance measurements and see if you need to get the thing align bored. From there you may need to get undersized bearings.

If your doing this without any experience its a good area to get some help with. With bad calculations you can end up ruining ALOT of money in parts in little to no time at all.
