Exhaust gasket question - Click HERE for Original Thread

TyPhOOnSliPPerY
Where can I find a metal 4bolt square exhaust gasket for my catback system, it is aproximately 3-1/2 to 3-3/4inch diameter. I am wondering where I can pick one of these up or if anyone has one at their house or shop they arent using. let me know

for example it looks like the flange on the left end of the piping

Such a simple pattern you could easily cut your own. Not sure what material is best but its an option. Crappy Tire sells gasket material in a variety pack. :D

Just smear some of that high temp sealant on there. The copper stuff.

I am not using plastic/rubber/cork or any of that crappy gasket material .... I want to know where to order a proper one

I am going to Apex Modified to but the metal graphite coated material for $8 and make one for now but still need a place to buy a proper one :P

Exact make & model number of the exhaust would help.

Copper Silcone works great. The flanges are usually machined smooth so you need a very little amount.

It is what is on mine.

i bought a pack of gasket material, had assorted types of material, from canadian tire or princess auto or something. have used it for exhaust system flanges, EGR block off plates, wastegate flanges, etc. has worked great everytime. and was very cheap.
