| more li a low kmcar considering natioal average is 24000 km per year and mutiply thtby 15 so this car iftwas high kms would have over 360000 kms on it and since its just over 180 i would consider that super low kms and the hood is ready for paint all sanded and primed so it will run u about a 125 bucks tops to get it sprayed |

The conversion would be with a 6speed T56 tranny. I dont know the price on a conversion. David T's might know in edmonton, I have never delt with them so I dont know what there prices for parts & service is like. But you can put a shift kit in and B&M slapstick shifter in it for under 500 bucks for parts I bet. All the old muscle cars were mostly auto. Driving one of these in auto compared to 6spd isnt like a talon auto to manual. The V8 produce alot more torque lower in the rpm range which makes for power right away. I have a 6spd car in the garage and the power its at right now I would prefer auto, also when I was in Edmonton doing 'daily driving' I prefered the auto, espicially since it has 3.73's compared to the stock 3.08 or 2.93 that they come with to keep you from spinning your tires. If you are interested I have a heads/cam I can include with the deal. should put the car up to the 400hp range and be good for 12's, low 12's with a stall converter and sticky tires. There is a guy on my f-body forum running low 13's with the same bolt ons I have on it right now and a stall. If he can launch it and with some drag radials everyone thinks his car should run a high 12 at SIR. From what I hear the tracks are similar for times compared to your Castrol Raceway. Add the heads/cam you should easily be in the low 12's with a stall and sticky tires. The heads and cam have excellent drivability and it by no means turns it into a race car were you got to throw it in to N at a light to keep it from stalling. With a good tune it will keep stock drivabilty. |

The car itself is more powerful than virtually everything on the road with the automatic. |

Its completely understandable, thats how I was when I got the car. I didnt even want it at first despite the looks or condition. Then when I drove it I was shocked at what the car had to offer, plus its easy to drink and drive. Not that kind, but like a bottle of water or a slush or to even answer your phone.Its just so much nicer. With the 6spd car that I have its very difficult to do anything other than shift up, shift down, shift up , shift down. I just love it for that fact that you can just get in a cruise, the power on tap is sweet too. This has been my first 94+ auto F-body, the other 3 were 6 speeds(94,98,& 01).
If you bought it I am sure you wouldn't be sorry. Plus right now I am cleaning out the garage so with the car at 19,500 I will include the set of chrome 16's with brand new tires, of course the 19's that are on it. the stereo stays in it(alpine amp+speakers & Eclipse deck). And a set of extra LS1 ported & polished heads with a comp cam and a set of extra pushrods that were used with the cam. |

trade u my camaro for it..its auto but liek 600 bucks to change to 5 speed..very fast car..i been an int imports for many years and owned several civics..i even had some little punk kids take a look at it and i take them for a rid and they couldnt believe how fast it really was..i swore up and down i would never ever own an auto..been trained on auto and stayed that way..but this car has enough power when u tap the throttle it will break the tires loose..if u sit at a street light u put ur foot n the brake and punch it and u can make a smoke show..go around a turn and mash the throttle and it will power slide..with the wider tires and mint suspension it is a TIGHT ride and when doing 150 k/h feels like ur going slow because u still have lots of more power and speed left to go..i have the car for sale right now for 5500 its worth at least 6000..it will be a classic next year..but i need soemthing better on gas since i work in fort mcmurray now..
and trust me this is is nice enough that a virgin nerd can get laid in it..many people turn heads and give a nod.. |
